A Closer Look

A Commitment for Inclusion.

Christian unity is not uniformity of thought or ideology. We are formed as Christians through the historical belief in the authority of scripture, tradition and reason. We seek a unity of love despite diversity of opinion, understanding, interpretation or theological explanation. Our unity is in Christ, not in rigid theological constructions. Trinity’s strong and visible commitment for inclusion and unity is in our Trinity Parish Inclusion Commitment Statement:

"Trinity Episcopal Church welcomes all people who seek the love of God without regard to ability, age, color, economic circumstance, ethnic background, family configuration, gender, nationality, or sexual orientation. We promise to 'seek to serve Christ in all persons, …strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being.'  Honoring the vows of our Baptismal Covenant, we respect the dignity of every human person by welcoming and affirming all. We seek to become more fully loving and inclusive. We welcome all who wish to join us in this journey."

This is a safe place where we accept all God's children
and help each other live out our faith.
